Boxfiddle_2Our newest travel fiddle (pochette) was inspired by a 'box pochette' spotted by our friend in Australia, Jerry Everard, at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

      Don

Many thanks for this - I can understand now how loud these instruments can be. The one I made also has a sound post so that both front and back plates vibrate like a normal violin - and I would need a mute to play this in a hotel room! (http://fourstrings.wordpress.com) After going through the construction process I have even more respect for the work you guys put into your instruments.

      Cheers
      Jerry Everard (without the 'h')
