Rickert & Ringholz Now a Meisel Stringed Instruments Dealer

We will be selling several Meisel violins, known for their affordable quality (in the $400-$600 range). All of these violins will be available either as standard Meisel violins or specialy set-up as fiddles; the fiddles will be branded as "Meisel, customized by Rickert & Ringholz."

In addition to the violins, we will be selling an octave violin based on a violin-sized Meisel Viola; which will have its bridge and nut modified, and of course have special octave strings (either SuperSensitive or Thomastik). For additional cost, they can be fit with Perfection internally geared tuners. This instrument; while lacking the volume and project of our own Octave Violin, still sounds pretty good and is fraction of the price.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more information on our relationship with Meisel and pictures of the instruments.
